Thirty years of action in the greek rock scene are captured in the first LP of DIAFYGON KERDOS, influenced by many rock'nroll idioms from the 60s to nowadays.
The band started on 1986, mainly playing favorite classic, garage and alternative rock songs, but somehow its own music came out to be dressed with greek lyrics, as the band's members grew up listening to greek rock legends like Dimitris Poulikakos, Pavlos Sidiropoulos and Trypes.
The british invasion of the Rolling Stones and the Who, the psychedelia of 13th Floor Elevators, the early punk of MC5, the boogie of Captain Beefheart, the garage revival of Fuzztones, the psychobilly of Gun Club, the paisley underground of Dream Syndicate and the alternative australian bands are the most important influences of this album, with original lyrics in a mocking mood and one poem from George Brassens.
